Every day more and more people get involved in the exciting game of paintball. Many people think of this game as an extreme sport, but the difference between this and extreme sports is that paintball is very much a team sport game. The game is definitely extreme but the key in winning is learning to work with a team.

Originally created by the Nelson paint Co., the invention rose out of the need to figure out how to mark trees and forests. Soon after paintballs were used for marking Cows buy cattle owners. Eventually someone created a fun way to play again with this paint ball and a devolved into what we know it as today.

It is not uncommon to see paintball as a corporate team building event. If this is your first time getting behind the sights of a paint ball gun, here are a few things you should take to heart in order to have a good game, and a fun time.

To start with, one of the most critical things to do is make sure you protect yourself. Countless injuries are caused by new people playing the game and not properly gearing themselves up. Probably the most important thing to do is to wear your helmet. This protective goggle system will keep your eyes, ears and soft tissues. Remember, a paintball can travel up to 300 fps and do damage rather easily.

You want to make sure you cover your skin. Wear long sleeves. Getting hit by a paintball stings. The more you can protect your skin and cover yourself, the better insulation you’ll have and less pain from stinging. Make sure you were long thick pants, gloves, and sturdy shoes or boots.

On your paintball gun, use a barrel stopping device. With this little tool does is make sure that your paintball gun is not accidentally fired. Just like on a real gun, a safety feature to prevent you from hurt yourself or others.

The way the game works is simple. Players get eliminated when the paintball fired by the opponent break due to an impact and leave a mark of paint on them. A player can also ask for the opponent to surrender when he is within ten to fifteen feet distance before the player fires the paintball at him.

Paintball can be a fun and enjoyable experience. The key things are to make sure that you have a good team strategy, and you have the right gear. Not having the right gear can lead to a poor experience, potential harm, and the right team strategy can lead to success over failure.
