Rentadick: Out of the nether-land between The Goon Show and Monty Python comes this romp written by Python buddies John Cleese and Graham Chapman, spoofing recipe secluded-eye flips. An experimental nerve fuel that paralyzes from the waist down has been stolen and Rentadick, Inc. is employed to track down the perpetrators. Cast includes Jim Clark, James Booth, Julie Ege, Ronald Fraser, Donald Sinden, Michael Bentine, Richard Briers, and Spike Milligan. (94 minutes, 1972)

Hopscotch: Cast includes Amusing contrivance in reference to a maverick CIA operative who’s tired of with his idiotic manager Beatty and plans to instruct him a lecture by broadcasting his unstable recollections. The movie is hardly believable, however fun to watch. From the novel by Brian Garfield, who co-produced and co-scripted the film. Cast includes Walter Matthau, Glenda Jackson, Sam Waterston, Ned Beatty, and Herbert Lo. (104 minutes, 1980)

The General’s Daughter: Army investigator Travolta exposes more than he ever envisioned while he looks into the murder of a trendy basic’s baby girl, herself a commander. As proof of a chief disgrace grows, it gets to be transparent that the Army’s only interest is keeping a lid on the matter. Slickly finished, however this twisty story from Nelson DeMille’s bestseller has a bulky air of contrivance in regards to it. True Lies: Being married and an international super spy don’t go hand in hand. With his wife becoming bored with him she is close to having an affair, to a man pretending to be a spy. He sets out to sin his wife back, and winds up getting into a very tough situation.
