A Few Quick Hollywood Movie Story Lines To Look At

It used to be that you had to go to the video store to get a movie. Now, with internet usage exploding, movie downloads are becoming very popular. Following is a list of a few movies that you can get using a movie download site.

Mickey Blue Eyes: Alarmingly unfunny story based on the renowned nearsighted animation personality refreshed in the energized credits, with Greg Burson filling in for Jim Backus as the voice of Magoo. Nielsen does his best unconditionally, although the pointlessly difficult plot about the theft of a dear cherry just goes on and on. There are a tremendous amount of mean spirited characters for a kid’s film. Cast includes Hugh Permit, James Caan, Jeanne Trippet, Leslie Nielsen, Jennifer Gamer, Malcolm McDowell, and Miguel Ferrer. (103 minutes, 1999)

Jury of One: Trudging melodrama in reference to a lady who goes to shocking extremes to defend her child who is on trial for murder and rape. Gabin plays the magistrate. Cast includes Sophia Loren, Jean Gabin, Henri Garcin, Julien Bertheau, and Michel Albertini. (97 minutes, 1974)

Faraway So Close: The exact Wenders cast if not the exact Wenders film takes up where the more victorious Wings of Desire left off. This time it is life saver Sander who becomes mortal, joining his old celestial buddy who’s now wedded to a carnival entertainer. Lighter going than its predecessor, although additionally more lightweight; it’s still a good film to watch. Cast includes Otto Sander, Bruno Ganz, Solveig Dommartin, Peter Falk, Willem Dafoe, Lou Reed, and Mikhail Gorbachev. (140 minutes, 1993)

Dino: Mineo at his disobedient best playing young bad boy befriended by a gal Kohner and a public worker named Keith. Reginald Rose adjusted his esteemed Television play, and Mineo re-made his featuring role. Cast includes Sal Mineo, Brian Keith, Susan Kohner, Joe De Santis, Dime Santon, Blunt Faylen, and Richard BakaIyan. (94 minutes, 1957)

Striptease: Erin Grant is a stripper at the Eager Beaver. She is trying to raise enough money to get her daughter back from her divorced jerk of a former husband. Things spin out of control for Erin when a corrupt congressman comes to the club and takes a liking to her.

Sentimental Journey: Maudlin yam of dying actress O’Hara adopting a small child to give spouse Payne a friend while she is gone; no holds barred here. Movie was redone as “The Present of Love” and for a 1984 Television film. Cast includes John Payne, Maureen O’Hara, William Bendix, Cedric Hardwicke, Glenn Langan, Mischa Auer, and Connie Marshall. (94 minutes, 1946)

Factory Girl: Dismal, true tale of 1960s socialite Edie Sedgwick Miller and her self-damaging down turn into depravity and drug dependency after becoming one of Andy Warhol’s underground-film “megastars.” Christensen plays a renowned musician who looks, acts, and sounds suspiciously like Bob Dylan, with whom she has a stormy event. Cast includes Sienna Miller, Gentleman Pearce, Hayden Christensen, Jimmy Fallon, Jack Huston, and Shawn Hatosy. (90 minutes, 2006)

Clue: Stupid joke whodunit based on the trendy board game of the same name with all the recognizable characters Mrs. Peacock, Colonel Mustard, Miss Red, et al. assembled for a murderous day in a Victorian mansion. Everyone tries extremely hard bet there is nothing they can do to save this weak film. Cast includes Eileen Brennan, Tim Curry, Madeline Kahn, Christopher Lloyd, Michael McKean, Martin Ponder, and Howard Hesseman. (87 minutes, 1985)

Jack’s Back: Umpteenth retelling of the Jack The Ripper legend is updated to modern day L.A. where youthful physician Spader is the #1 suspect. Prostitutes are slaughtered in grisly style one hundred years to the night after Bloody Jack’s legendary offenses. The twist midway through is preposterous. Cast includes James Spader, Cynthia Gibb, Pole Loomis, Rex Ryon, Robert Picardo, Chris Mulkey, and Dauitza Kingsley. (97 minutes, 1988)
