Every person’s all-time favorite movie, The Manchurian Candidate, A current day rendering of the 1962 film. Decorated war hero Raymond Shaw is now in place to become the Vice President of the US. His Mother, Senator Eleanor Shaw is pulling all the political strings. A drawback is developing for her plans. Major Bennett Marco, a member of Raymond’s platoon is starting to mistrust the events of the day Raymond saved the platoon. Marco is battling an uphill battle, but can’t resist the troublesome impression that something is not right.

Cry the Beloved Country. Moving redo of the 1951 film based on Alan Paton’s rejoiced story, in reference to a backwoods pastor (Jones) who, in 1946, makes his first ever trip to the city of Johannesburg in search of his wayward child. At the same time wealthy landowner Harris voyages there to claim the body of his child, who has just been murdered. We see exceptional work by Jones, Harris, and a largely foreign cast. Not as understated as the first making, however powerful in its own way. Cast includes Richard Harris, James Earl Jones, Charles S. Dutton, and Vusi Kunene.

Timeless film “The Beverly Hillbillies”. This is a movie based on the 1960’s TV series. When Jed Clampett by accident discovers oil on his rural land in Arkansas, he becomes an instant millionaire. He brings the entire Clampett kin out to Beverly Hills. Being uncomplicated country folk they are prey to every cash hungry con artist in the big city.

Macabre, Extraordinary goings on in smaIl town where a doctor’s young daughter inexplicably disappears and a unnamed telephone caller declares that the child has been buried alive. Cast includes William Prince, Jim Backus, Christine White, and Jacqueline Scott. (73 minutes, 1958)

Cuba Crossing is a classic movie from the year 1980. Our lead man Stuart Whitman becomes mixed up in a plot to take out Fidel Castro. Filmed in Key West, Florida, and at minimum the landscape is beautiful. Cast includes Stuart Whitman, Robert Vaughn, Caren Kaye, Raymond St. Jacques, Woody Strode, Sybil Danning, Albert Salmi, and Michael Gazzo.

A memorable from the year 1981 Afurika Monogatari. Guide Sayer crashes his jet in wilds of Africa and comes upon a game preserve. Even old Jimmy is dreary. The film was filmed in Kenya. Cast includes James Stewart, Philip Sayer, Eleanora Vallone, and Heekura Simba.

Alias Jesse James is a timeless motion picture from the year 1959. One of Hope’s funniest has him an insurance sales associate out West, mistaken for a sharpshooter. Fleming is a congenial Western belle, and the 2 do a cute tune together. Cast includes Bob Wish, Rhonda Fleming, Wendell Corey, Jim Davis, and Gloria Talbott.

Your beloved motion picture, “Dodgeball”, A True Underdog Story – Peter is the proud proprietor of Average Joe’s gym. His luck is running short and White Goodman, founder and president of gym franchise Globo Gym, wants to get the gym from Peter. Things terminate in a dodge ball contest in which Average Joe’s team must win for Peter to keep his beloved gym.

Trading Mom, It is about three siblings who could not stand their mom. Spacek cast a spell which makes her-and all recollection of her vanish. Here is a flat and lifeless storyline with poor production values. Cast includes Sissy Spacek, Anna Chlumsky, Aaron Michael Metchik, Asher Metchik, Maureen Stapleton, and Merritt Yohnka.
